About Sankofa

Built for the next generation of software pioneers.

Sankofa is an operating system for product teams — eight bonded products on one open-core platform. Plan, Deploy, Switch, Analytics, Catch, Pulse, Remote Config, and Vision share one event stream, one identity model, and one auth layer.

We started Sankofa because the modern product stack — PostHog plus LaunchDarkly plus Sentry plus Linear plus Statsig plus a half-dozen integration scripts — was costing teams more than it was giving them. The bond is the product.

How we build, what we won't do.

Bonded by default

Every product talks to every other product. A crash links to a flag links to a deploy links to a ticket. No glue code, no exporters, no second source of truth.

Open at the core

The ingestion engine, the analytics surface, the flag evaluator, and the SDKs are open source. The enterprise layer (SSO, RBAC, audit export, region pinning) ships in a separate ee/ module.

Self-host or cloud

Run Sankofa on your own infrastructure or on ours — the binary is the same. Air-gapped operation is supported on the Enterprise tier.

Honest about what we have

We don't claim attestations we don't hold. SOC 2 Type II is in progress; we'll publish the report when it's signed. Until then, the compliance page lists exactly what we offer today.
